yes we have a mattress in the tent and warm covers and pillow.yes if you arrive early you can leave your bags with us or if the tent is available you can go to the tent.

Hola! Yes,it is possible to come to the hostel to shower and use the plugs for 100 pesos a day. Just ask for Luis or Camillo when you get to the place. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Do you have female Dormitory ?

The dormitory is mixed, but the are curtains to separate the different spaces, so that privacy is guaranteed.

Do I need a lock for the lockers?

we don't have lockers

Always a great pleasure.
El Mirador is my home away from home in Chiapas. I am on the autism spectrum and they always give me exactly what I need to thrive. It’s more like a family to me than just a hostel. The staff, guests, the vibe, the weather, and, of course, Luisa, The Cat. :-)

Good
The staff and volunteers are all super nice. The kitchen is well equipped and there's a lot of space in the hostel to relax. The price is very cheap all things considered. The breakfast was more than I was expecting honestly.
None of the tents closed all the way, and the area where the tents are gets wet easily from the rain. It felt like we were out of water (not drinking water) more often than not, but this is not the fault of the hostel.

Exceptional
excellent location, just removed enough from the action for a sense of peace, something beautifully reinforced by the volunteer staff, who were uniformly kind and a pleasure to be around.
The dance party that started at 7 AM every morning, but that was across the street at a gym. No fault of the hostel's.
